This weekend was BUSY. Saturday I was at the Jack Stack, serving drinks for a charity event, then Sunday, it was the Toys for Tots drive at the NFM. 30-thousand toys needed this year– it’s way more than previous years, so thanks to everyone who came on out and donated!
A story that caught my eye this morning…with the car industry on the decline…dealerships are offering BOGO (buy-one-get-one-free) car deals. “WHAT?!” I thought to myself. After checking the fine print on CNN, the deal is this:
“To be fair, there is a catch to the buy-one-get-one-free offer: You must first buy a new Dodge truck at full retail price before you’re eligible to receive a second truck for about $3,000 in tax, tags and dealer fees. “
Still…what has this world come to!?
Even though it was a busy weekend (not as busy at Jimmy Flink, out at Arrowhead for the game)- I was still able to use a couple coupons on my weekend grocery trip. I was able to get two Johnson and Johnson bars of soap for free, and a package of cotton swabs for 20-cents. Our Coupon Mom, Chrissy’s website http://www.becentsable.net/ has the coupon.
Okay, finishing up a story I’ve got planned for later this week. Stay warm everyone, and bundle up for the impending snow!
