Dion’s Daily Deal: $5 Price Chopper + Hy-Vee Coupon Books

One of my mentors once told me, the business isn’t just about skillBeing in TV news has a lot to do with who you know and timing, timing, timing.

This is just a sample of all the coupons you'll get. Take note of the FREE drink coupon in the top right too.

This is how I feel about Price Chopper and Hy-Vee coupon books.  If you know someone selling one, raising money for a school or other organization, you can score a FABULOUS coupon book for $5.

One of our great promo folks, Clay, has a son selling them for his school.  For all of you who haven’t seen a coupon book from Hy-Vee, it’s $5 and you’ll get a TON of store coupons, which you can then stack with manufacturer’s coupons.

But the kicker…you also get a $5 coupon to use off your total purchase.  BAM!  You make your money back, so it’s like free coupons.  I highly suggest purchasing a few of these.

This is what I made for dinner last night and had for lunch today. Super easy stuffed peppers. Brown bison or beef. Sautee onions. Mix in brown rice or barley. Add one can of condensed tomato soup. Par-boil peppers. Cut off tops, stuff. Total, 6 stuffed peppers for less than $6. (The peppers were on sale. Green is always cheapest.)

Call your local store too– I just called a location in Independence, and they sell them right @ customer service. Call your location to find out if they’re in stores. Enjoy!
