Dion’s Deal: 435 South’s Tasty Tuesday Menu @ Zest

Thanks to Kathy Boos and the crew at 435 South Magazine for the heads up on Tasty Tuesdays.  Every Tuesday the magazine teams up with a restaurant for a special menu meal costing just $4.35.

Ooh la-la. Sure beats the microwave frozen meal I had for lunch today...

This week: ZEST in Mission Farms in Leawood.

$4.35 will get you one of these delectable meals:

Meatloaf made from ground sirloin, veal and pork, topped with wild mushrooms and a veal demi glace, garlic mashed potatoes and herb -roasted roma tomatoes (are you salivating yet? What a nice description. )

— Panko-Crusted Chicken Fontina. Half a breast of chicken topped with fontina cheese, wild mushrooms, tomatoes, Italian braising greens, finished with a lemon butter sauce

This isn't on the Tasty Tuesday menu, but it's on the Zest website, and it too looks scrumptious.

or– 1/2 grilled cheese french toast sandwich and soup. (That one’s pretty self explanatory.)

You’ll have to call the restaurant and see what time the lunch special is going on tomorrow. 913-381-5678 and their website is http://www.zestkc.com (For some reason I don’t see the time specified…it’s usually about 11am-1pm, but again, you’ll have to double check.)

Enjoy!

One of their previous Tasty Tuesdays was at Blanc Burgers.
