Good Monday Morning Everybody!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Haven’t posted since last week because I was in Boston for the wedding of two people I set up on a blind date about…oh I’ve lost count, 6 or 7 years ago!  I’ll have to post photos soon, because get this…the groom’s family lives IN KANSAS CITY!

This morning we ran a story about a man on a pizza diet. I got all excited…then the guy in the story said he does it by eating only once slice, then exercising an hour afterwards. Uhhh what kind of diet is that? You could eat ANYTHING in moderation and then exercise an hour and lose right, no?

Basically add your photo to a bunch of funny-ish DiGiorno fan photos on Facebook, and get a coupon for a FREE pizza!  If you’re not much of an exhibitionist, you can also print out a $1 coupon at the site. 

PS:  Here’s the free Kraft Mayo I got in the mail.  (This was a blog post earlier last week.)  Companies always say it takes 6-8 weeks or something ridiculous, but these two mayo packets arrived in less than 2.  By the way…no coupon in the box…but nice nonetheless for those times the driver-thru person forgets to pop in condiments in my bag.

This guy LOVES lounging in the sun. No matter if it’s winter or summer, he loves catching some rays. (The fur means he doesn’t need sunscreen.)

Dion’s Cooking Tip: please, please take the time to whip your own whip cream. Cool Whip is fine and all, but trust me. It wasn’t as intimidating as I thought to whip your own. Cream. Bowl. Wisk. Arm movements. 2 minutes later, fluffy deliciousness and a more toned upper arm.

Waffle House occasionally comes out with these free item coupons, and ladies and gentlemen, this time it’s a slice of pie! This coupon expires July 10th, so you’ve got plenty of time to use it.  I’d call ahead just to cover your bases to make sure the coupon is valid for your location.

By the way…here I am with a group of friends one night for chicken and dumplings night. My girlfriend Robbyn had her little southern mama in town on weekend, so she had us all over for dumplings, lima beans and CHESS PIE.  Oh my goodness…I’ve never had chess pie, have no idea why it’s called chess pie but it reminded me of pecan, and I must have eaten three slices that night.
